Training & Careers

At Breen Equestrian we are able to offer a variety of training opportunities in every aspect of an equestrian business. Our pupils have access to world-class riding training and will be trained in every aspect of managing and producing competition horses. They are involved with everything from breaking the young horses to riding the competition horses.

We are unusual in that we are able to offer our pupils invaluable experience of riding in the ring, not only on their own horses but also on some of our horses. They are able to see the detailed preparation involved in competing internationally and are also involved with client contact, stud work, producing our young stock and buying and selling horses. Our current and former pupils include Georgia Tame, Jack Ryan, David Simpson, Michael Duffy, Dereck McCoppin, Jake Saywell, Jeremy Sweetnam and the late Jack Dodd. David, Michael, Georgia, Jack and Dereck all have represented their countries on multiple Nations Cup Teams. Micheal Duffy made his European Championship debut in 2023 where he helped Team Ireland secure the Silver Medal and David Simpson won the Hickstead Derby in the same year.
