ORVILLE VAN DER WATERMOLEN IS AN IMPRESSIVE 6YR OLD STALLION BY EQUUS TAME, WHO HAS JUMPED AT 1.50m LEVEL WITH MAIKEL VAN DER VLEUTEN. HIS GRAND SIRE IS QLASSIC BOIS MARGOT, A 5* WINNER AT 1.60m LEVEL WITH SIMON DELESTRE. ORVILLE’S DAM IS BY LANSDOWNE (1.60m LEVEL GRAND PRIX) AND SHE HAS ALREADY PRODUCED PROGENY JUMPING AT 1.40m LEVEL.

Orville has had a great start to his competition career, winning the 4yr old Star of the Future class at Hickstead in 2023. As a 5-year-old, he has qualified for the Newcomer and Foxhunter 2nd rounds. He was the Winner of the Novice Championship at Hickstead and was placed 3rd in the 5-year-old Final at the Arena UK Championships. He will be targeted for age classes in 2025.

He has some foals on the floor born in 2024 and are stunning types, already winners in the ring. At the Northern Ireland Horse Board, a filly by Orville van der Watermolen was awarded the winner of the show jumping foals.
