Impressive in type, talent and temperament — meet Orville vd Watermolen.
Orville vd Watermolen combines a good brain with excellent conformation and a beautiful, classic type — the sort of horse who is as pleasing to work with as he is to look at. He is an impressive seven‑year‑old stallion by Equus Tame. Orville has had a strong start to his competition career, winning the Four‑Year‑Old Star of the Future class at Hickstead in 2023. As a five‑year‑old, he qualified for the Newcomers and Foxhunter Second Rounds, won the Novice Championship at Hickstead, and finished third in the Five‑Year‑Old Final at the Arena UK Championships. In 2025, Orville vd Watermolen showed strong consistency at 1.35m level, delivered clear rounds in major young‑horse qualifiers, and achieved a top‑15 placing (13th) in the prestigious Lanaken Six‑Year‑Old Consolation, all clear indicators of his growing talent and international potential.
He is 47% blood.
