Ending with a bang!

With our time in the UAE now coming to a close, we take a moment to reflect on the last three shows. Grand Prix wins and CSI5* placings made for an exciting finish to the season.

CSI3* Sharjah saw Shane pilot Z7 Oilina to 3rd place in the 1.50m, and Katie and Z7 Pink Panther delivered impressive clear rounds in both CSIYH1* 7-year-old qualifiers, showing great promise for the future. But it was homebred Scarteen stole the show, claiming victory in the CSI3* Grand Prix.

Meanwhile, back at home, the Mini Breen Team was out in full force at Southview Pony Premier. Dougie and Leiiaish Penelope secured victory in the 128 Winter Second Round, qualifying for the 128 class at the Royal International at Hickstead later this year.

Our penultimate show on the UAE calander was CSI2* Abu Dhabi . Z7 Ipswich came out for a play, placing 9th in the 1.30m before winning the 2* 1.35m Jump Off Class. BP Artic Blue put in two strong performances, finishing 5th in the CSI2* 1.40m and 2nd in the CSI2* Grand Prix. BE Golden Lynx and Georgia also jumped some great rounds, landing just outside the top 10 in the CSI2* Grand Prix.

To close out the UAE season, the team headed to CSI2*/CSI5*-W Sharjah. Shane and Scarteen finished 7th in the CSI5*-W 1.45m, while BP Artic Blue again showed incredible form, winning the CSI2* Grand Prix. Having jumped just three Grand Prixs, finishing 2nd in two and winning one, this 9-year-old gelding continues to impress. BE Golden Lynx proved undefeated in the Six Bar, Winning 3/3 of Six Bars he has competed during the UAE season. He also picked up 2nd place in the CSI5*-W 1.55 – we are super proud of this homebred horse!

As for our star, Scarteen, he added another top result to his record, placing 5th in the CSI5*-W Grand Prix.

Darcy had a fantastic Pony Premier at Arena UK, winning the JC Hickstead Qualifier with My Nova Luna, setting them up for an exciting season ahead.
