The momentum carried through the team was out in full force at the Hickstead Derby meeting back on home soil. It was a very successful week for the up-and-coming talent in the yard with Katie Speller and ‘Z7 Leela’ qualifying for the 5-year-old final and finishing in 7th. ‘Z7 Pink Panther continued to build his reputation, placing 2nd in the Foxhunter Second Rounds, picking up his second ticker for the prestigious Horse of the Year Show with Katie Speller. Adding even more excitement to the week, Dougie Breen stole the spotlight in the Mini Major challenge, teaming up with his Dad for a fun and memorable win. We ended on a memorable week at Hickstead with an emotional retirement ceremony in the main ring, celebrating ‘Z7 Can Ya Makan.’ His farewell was a tribute to the remarkable journey they had shared and the lasting mark he had left, but we look forward to following his progeny!

Proudly representing her country and delivering top-class results throughout the week, she showcased her talent and composure under pressure. Homebred ‘BE Thiassi’ by ‘Cuick Star Kervec’ impressed with a brilliant round to finish 2nd in the Youngsters Cup, also being the highest placed 7-year-old in the class.
