At Breen Equestrian we are able to offer a variety of training opportunities in every aspect of an equestrian business. Our pupils not only have access toworld class riding training, but also will be trained in every aspect of managing and producing competition horses. They are involved with all the horses from breaking the young horses to riding the competition horses.

We are unusual in that we able to offer our pupils invaluable experience of riding in the ring, not only on their own horses but also some of our horses. They are able to see the detailed preparation involved in competing internationally and are also involved with client contact, stud work, producing our young stock and buying and selling horses. Our current and former pupils include Georgia Tame, David Simpson, Michael Duffy, Dereck McCoppin, Jake Saywell and the late Jack Dodd. David, Michael and Dereck all represtented Ireland on Nations Cup Teams in 2017, and David and Michael represented Ireland in 2018, they have been successful in setting up their own businesses. Jake has represented Great Britain on the Gold Medal Winning Young Riders Team at the 2017 European Championships. Michael and Jack were both accepted into the Atheneum Young Riders Academy.

Georgia Tame, currently a rider here, is enjoying great success at National and International level, she jumped her first 5* shows in 2018 and was a member of the Gold Medal winning British Young Riders Team at the European Championships. Georgia also jumped on her first senior Nations Cup team in 2018.

In 2016 our pupils Sunniva Sunde and Alona Solviova represented Norway and the Ukraine respectively at the Junior European Championships in Ireland, and Jake Saywell represented Great Britain in the Young Rider European Championships. Jake also represented Great Britain in the Young Rider Europeans in 2017, winning team Gold.

We are also able to offer non-residential training with both Shane and Michael Quirke.

We now work with Haddon Training and are able to offer apprenticeships where you are able to train and earn at the same time.

For those who do not feel that their future lies in competition, we are able to set them on the road to an excellent career as top class competition grooms.
