Breen Team’s newest recruit makes his international debut in Portugal

It was fantastic start to week two at Vilamoura Equestrian Centre, with new addition Z7 Porsche living up to his name and recording a speedy clear with Georgia in his inaugural international 5-year-old class. Georgia also putting in a terrific performance with Lady Star Van Dorperheide in the 3* 1.30 for a 9th place finish. 

Elsewhere, Jack made his mark on the bigger classes, with Granada S clear in the 1.30 and KBS Major Player finishing 3rd in the 1.35 

Wednesday brought another good showing for Team Breen in the 1.35, with Shane clear and 10th with Z7 Ipswich and Haya, respectively. Stepping up, Georgia and Lady Star Van Dorperheide were clear and Jack and Cuick Star Kervec were clear and in the prizes. In the 1.40, it was a 3rd place finish for Georgia and beautiful Quintella, owned by Old Lodge and a clear and yet another finish in the prizes for Jack and BBS McGregor. 

On Thursday, Georgia and Evita were clear in the 1.30 and on Friday Jack and Georgia were both clear in the 1.35 with Cuick Star Kervec and Lady Star Van Dorperheide, respectively. 

The weekend brought more sun and success with Shane 12th in the 1.40 aboard Gait L and Georgia and Old Lodge’s Quintella taking victory in the 1.30 Accumulator. 

To end the week, Shane jumped Chacco’s Lando to a lovely clear in Sunday’s 1.20 and Z7 Ipswich put on an impressive display for just one down in the 3* Grand Prix.
