Drammen Nations Cup - A week for the books for the Breen Team

This week brought the much-anticipated Nations Cup show in Drammen. Named on Team Ireland, Shane would be going head to head against his protégé Georgia on Team GB. 

But before the feature event, there was other jumping to attend to, firing out of blocks, Shane won the opening 3* 1.35 on Team Z7's Can Ya Makan and then the 3* 1.40 with Compelling Z.  

Racking them up, Shane and Z7 Ipswich came third in the opening 3* 1.45 classCompelling Z topped the 3* GP the next day with Can Ya Makan coming 5th in the 1.50 Derby. Georgia came 5th with Clyde VA in the opening 3* 1.40 on the first day of competition, but her stand out performance came on Nations Cup day aboard team debutante Z7 Ascot. One of only two double clearsGeorgia and the 9-year-old stallion helped secure second spot for Team GB.  

Ireland took the win with Shane and Z7 Ipswich jumping clear and 4 to help the Irish clinch victory on an impressive day of showjumping 

Not to be outdone, Jack also had a hugely successful show with a win on Sunniva Sunde's Hollywood in the 3* 1.40, who then went on to come 5th in the Medium Tour Grand Prix. On his own Essenar High Hopes, Jack came 4th in the opening 1.40, 10th in the 3* GP and then went on to win the 3* 1.50 Derby.
