CSI2* Keysoe

July 25, 17:31

Darragh McCarthy, Jade Hooke and Sarah Lewis went to the CSI2* at Keysoe. Darragh took Paladin de Laume and ESI Hanoi, Jade took Effe and her own A New Era and Sarah took her own Doonaveeragh Emma.

Keysoe is a really lovely show where the organisers cannot do enough to help.  Although the weather was very hot the horses all jumped very well. Paladin de Laume and going particularly well in the 1.40 and 1.45 classes, seven year old ESI Hanoi jumping well in the 1.30 and 1.35 classes and Effe and Doonaveeragh Emma both jumping in the 1.20 and 1.25 classes.

The show also kindly organised a World Games Qualifying Class. Although there were initially three competitors for this class two withdrew, leaving Jade and A New Era, who jumped a fabulous round to qualify to represent South Africa in the World Games in Caen at the beginning of September.

Jade has now been selected as a team member to represent South Africa, so what had been a good show finished on a great note. Many congratulations to Jade.
